I really go for tightly arranged big band music with odd chords - and on this album, there are plenty of it! However, I fail to hear the "metal" ingredients everyone is talking about here... did I miss something? Well, maybe it's the metal that's used to build brass instruments - so yeah, I really love this kind of metal sound! And the wood sound, too.

Enthralling approach to reinvent a progressive, chamberish "jazz'n-3rd-stream" that doesn't need to demonstrate its given muscles or virtuositiy. Very unusual but accomplished compositions, that remain digestable inspite of all complexities. Clear and very colourful sound - jazz4tet + string4tet + vox5tet !?!! Really ADORABLE.
